Does Scanzo work on all websites?
Scanzo works on virtually any website. It intercepts network requests for media and scans the DOM for fonts, documents and text. A small number of sites with strict Content Security Policies may limit some features.
What permissions does the extension need?
Scanzo requests access to network requests (to detect assets), the active tab (to scan the page), and scripting (to highlight fonts). It never reads passwords, form data, or any personal information. All data stays on your device.
Is Scanzo really free?
Yes. The free version has no time limit, no scan limit, and no watermarks. Pro is a one-time $9.99 purchase that unlocks bulk download, sharing, and text export — no subscription ever.
How does font detection work?
Scanzo walks every visible element in the page and reads its computed CSS font-family and font-weight. It cross-references the browser's Font Loading API to confirm which fonts are actually web fonts (not system fonts). This means you only see fonts that are genuinely loaded and used — not just declared.
Can I download images from any site?
Scanzo can detect and download assets that are publicly served. Downloading assets you don't have permission to use may violate a site's terms of service or copyright laws. Always respect content ownership.
Where does my data go?
Nowhere. Scanzo stores detected asset lists in your browser's session storage, which clears when you close Chrome. No data is sent to any server. Your browsing is completely private.
